President Tinubu’s daughter resolves crisis within Lagos butchers union

Folasade Tinubu-Ojo

Mrs Folasade Tinubu-Ojo, daughter of President Bola Tinubu and Iyaloja-General, successfully mediated the conflict between the Lagos State Butchers Association and the National Butchers Union of Nigeria.

The resolution took place during a meeting attended by the union’s National President, John Adun, along with other key members from both national and state chapters.

After carefully considering the perspectives shared by all parties involved, Folasade Tinubu-Ojo encouraged them to prioritize peace moving forward.

She said, “Since the state body pledged allegiance to the national body and was inaugurated by the same, the Kazeem-led group should embrace peace and work collaboratively with the national body.”

Tinubu-Ojo, while cautioning against greed and betrayal among leaders, emphasised the importance of resolving disputes swiftly to prevent escalation into violence or public unrest.

“Only in an atmosphere of peace can growth occur,” she said while instructing a union member to present relevant sections of the union’s constitution to reinforce the necessity for unity
