A video depicting the altercation between controversial actress Tonto Dikeh and a car dealer has been circulating on social media.

The incident occurred when the actress was asked to settle a debt that had been outstanding for over seven months.

This recent video emerged shortly after Tonto Dikeh faced significant backlash from the public for expressing her support for the current administration led by President Tinubu amidst the nationwide #EndBadGovernance protest.

Reports indicate that the confrontation between Tonto Dikeh and the car dealer took place on July 31st, 2024, at the dealer’s office, where he demanded payment of N2 million owed by the actress.

Approximately seven months ago, Tonto Dikeh had approached the car dealer in Abuja expressing interest in purchasing a Mikano vehicle valued at N90 million. However, she found the price to be too high and proposed paying in installments, a suggestion that was not accepted by Mikano.

The Abuja car dealer, benefiting from his association with Mikano, acquired the car at a discounted price of N86 million, which he then sold to Tonto Dikeh. He stipulated that the payment be made in installments over a three-month period.

Initially, Tonto Dikeh paid N30 million, followed by an additional N20 million after the expiration of the three-month period. Subsequently, she began making gradual payments until the outstanding amount dwindled to N2 million out of the N86 million total.

Seeking the car dealer’s assistance with servicing the vehicle, Tonto Dikeh was reminded of the remaining N2 million debt. Consequently, she resorted to aggressive behavior during a visit to the dealer’s office, engaging in a physical altercation and causing damage to some property on the premises.

Despite pleas from the dealer’s staff, their attempts to defuse the situation proved unsuccessful.
