Pep Guardiola stated that there is a desire for Manchester City to vanish from the earth, amidst their legal dispute with the Premier League over 115 charges.
The independent commission hearing started in London last Monday, with City vehemently refuting any allegations of misconduct.
Manchester City will face Arsenal in a league match on Sunday. Guardiola opted not to address questions about forming a team for a goalless draw and instead focused on the ongoing legal proceedings.
“I am sorry to say I always want to defend my club – especially in these modern days,” Guardiola said.
“It’s like everyone doesn’t expect us to be not just relegated, they want us to disappear off the face of the earth.”
“I would say we have had many better days than our opponents – and that’s why we win a lot. It’s not complicated.”
