Adunni Ade, an actress and filmmaker, has addressed a cab driver named Francis Njoku, who threatened to sue her over a parcel delivery issue.

On Wednesday, Adunni turned to Instagram to accuse Njoku of taking her parcel and ignoring her calls, sparking the issue.

She openly called him out, asking her followers to contact him and criticizing the ride-sharing service InDrive for how it handled the incident.

Her message sparked an outcry among admirers, who demanded accountability from InDrive.

The platform suspended Njoku’s profile in response, and the box was delivered to the sender later that night.

Njoku, on the other hand, quickly retaliated, accusing Adunni of harming his reputation.

In a statement shared by Adunni on Thursday, Njoku insisted that her allegations had tarnished his image.

He said, “You have made a mess of my reputation, and I have reached out to my legal team. We will see you in court. You are not the one who requested the ride.

“Many human rights activists and lawyers have contacted me, and I will not let this slide. You must issue an unreserved apology and ensure Instablog removes the post.”

In her defense, Adunni posted screenshots of her interactions with both Njoku and her fashion designer, maintaining her innocence and reiterating her commitment to honesty.

She stated, “I do not lie or cheat anyone. If we’re talking about change, it has to start with us. With the current economic situation, everyone is trying to stay afloat, regardless of their financial status.”

Adunni detailed her communication with Njoku, noting that she had provided an access code for the delivery and followed up with calls when the package was not delivered as expected.

According to her, Njoku hung up on her and later claimed that the sender had input the wrong address.

This led to a heated exchange, where Njoku allegedly made rude remarks and sarcastically told her to come collect the package herself.

Adunni stated, “In all my years of using delivery services, I have never encountered someone as rude, uncivilized, and arrogant as Francis Njoku.”

In another post, Adunni welcomed Njoku’s lawsuit.

“Francis Njoku, I am about that life! I want all the smoke. I wait on your human rights activists’ letter or Lawsuit!” she wrote in part.
