Aisha Yesufu, a socio-political activist, has criticized the Department of State Services (DSS) for arresting Omoyele Sowore, the former presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC).
Creebhills previously reported that Sowore, one of the organizers of the EndBadGovernance protests, was apprehended by secret police operatives in Lagos on Sunday.
When he returned to Nigeria from the United States, he was imprisoned, but he confirmed his release in a post on X.
Aisha responded to the arrest in a post on her official X handle, saying the secret police are shameless and ignorant.
She wrote, “DSS/SSS is not only shameless but unintelligent. They fell for the bait! Kai!
“No wonder terrorists are using them to chew gum”.
