Appointing Guardiola as Super Eagles coach won’t stop criticism – Boniface

Victor Boniface

Victor Boniface believes that no matter who is leading the Super Eagles, supporters will always find something to criticize.

The Nigeria Football Federation has received criticism for not appointing a permanent head coach since Finidi George’s departure in June.

There is always debate about whether a local or foreign coach should manage the team, but Boniface remains impartial and doesn’t have a preference.

“The truth is even if we bring in Guardiola, Nigerians will still have something to say, but I’m the type of person that doesn’t care about what people think, because they’re not here with the team,” the Bayer Leverkusen striker told Football Fans Tribe in an interview.

“Our job is to give it all on the pitch, and that’s it. It’s life. People will always criticize. So, no matter which coach you bring, people always have something to say.”
