Toyin Adegbola, a veteran Nollywood actress, discussed divorce and adultery in marriage during an Instagram Live session.
Adegbola stated that adultery alone should not be sufficient grounds for divorce and recommended women not leave their marriages only because of their husbands’ troublesome behaviour.
Toyin Adegbola underlined the difficulties divorcees may face when pursuing remarriage, encouraging them to persevere and find coping methods inside their relationships.
She also proposed odd measures, such as giving unfaithful husbands condoms, as part of her ideas for dealing with infidelity.
She said; “No matter how bad your husband is, don’t ever leave his house because in future you will beg him when the children have important events to do. If you leave, you will not see any single man to marry you and you will be cheating with another person’s husband. Sit down in your husband’s house and always advise him to protect himself while he cheats. Just be begging and buying condoms for him if he’s cheating.”
