Reality TV star Ilebaye has responded to a fan’s opinion on why she won the eighth edition of the Big Brother Naija reality show, themed ‘All Stars’.
During the session, Ilebaye praised the Big Brother Naija couple DoubleKay and showed her support for them.
A fan expressed disappointment on X (formerly Twitter) about Ilebaye’s support for the duo, suggesting that her victory in the All Stars edition was due to her feisty personality. .
The fan’s tweet reads, “Ilebaye, I’m very disappointed in you. If you had been calm last year, we wouldn’t have gone through sleepless nights and tears on your behalf. Only God knows how I and my people fought for you, a stranger. Money is given to those who work for it, period”.
In response, Ilebaye attributed her victory to God and acknowledged that the fan was not a genuine fan.
Ilebaye tweeted, “Calm or no calm, I would still have won. You don’t know what grace is. Pray to God to tell you in your sleep. My Baye tribe supported me massively without insulting me. Madam, watch your figures before typing shit to me. Thanks for the vote, it was counted”.
