President Bola Tinubu is expected to address Nigerians via nationwide broadcast on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at 7 a.m.
This was confirmed in a statement signed by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, on Monday.
The statement is headlined ‘October 1st, 2024 Independence Day: President Tinubu addresses the country.’
Onanuga stated that the broadcast is part of the celebrations for the country’s 64th anniversary of independence.
“Television, radio stations, and other electronic media outlets are encouraged to connect to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria for the broadcast,” the statement added.
