Manchester United SHOCKED by Crystal Palace in Goalless Stalemate

Manchester United were left to regret squandered chances in a frustrating 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Despite dominating the first half, Erik ten Hag’s team failed to capitalize on their advantage, and Palace almost punished them in the second half.

Ten Hag’s decision to sideline in-form Marcus Rashford aroused eyebrows, especially given his appreciation for the striker’s previous performances.

However, Rashford’s brief participation in the closing 30 minutes had little impact on the game’s outcome.

United came close in the first half, with Alejandro Garnacho hitting the crossbar and Bruno Fernandes narrowly missing the follow-up.

Joshua Zirkzee also squandered a header from a Christian Eriksen corner.

Meanwhile, Palace, winless in the league, showed more fight after the break.

Andre Onana pulled off a double save to deny Eddie Nketiah and Ismaila Sarr.

The hosts’ best chance came when Eberechi Eze fired wide from close range.

Former United goalkeeper Dean Henderson impressed for Palace, making key saves to keep his former club at bay.
