NECO releases 2024 SSCE internal examination results

The 2024 SSCE internal results have been released by the National Examinations Council (NECO), as announced by Professor Dantani Wushishi, the Registrar/Chief Executive of NECO. The disclosure was made on Thursday during a briefing for journalists at NECO’s headquarters in Minna, Niger State.

In addition to the release of the results, Wushishi also mentioned that 21 supervisors in 12 states have been blacklisted by NECO, and one school in Ekiti State has been de-recognized for engaging in mass cheating in two core subjects and one science subject.

The supervisors were blacklisted due to various reasons such as poor supervision, aiding and abetting, abscondment, extortion, drunkenness, and negligence.

“Forty schools were found to have been involved in whole-school mass cheating in 17 states adding that the schools will be invited to the council for discussion after which appropriate sanctions will be applied,” he added.
