Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has conveyed that he would not decline an offer from Manchester United to reassume the position of manager.
The 51-year-old has been without a coaching role since his termination by the Red Devils in November 2021.
Solskjaer was relieved of his duties subsequent to a sequence of six defeats in eleven matches, which included a 5-0 loss at home to Liverpool.
With Erik ten Hag presently facing mounting scrutiny at Old Trafford following merely three victories in eight contests this season, Solskjaer has indicated that he would not dismiss the possibility of a return.
“If the family [United] asks, I would say yes every day of the week,” he said in a Q&A at the Oslo Business Forum.
“It feels wrong to talk about jobs that other people have now, but I would say yes, of course.”
