Rapper Rich Homie Quan, real name Dequantes Devontay Lamar, passed away at the age of 34 in his Atlanta home on 5 September.
The Fulton County medical examiner confirmed his death, with an autopsy scheduled for Friday.
He was discovered on the couch by his girlfriend Amber Williams, who found him unresponsive.

Just before his passing, he had shared plans to appear at the Wild N’ Out Live Tour on 19 September in a post on his Facebook page.
Rich’s music became known in the mainstream in 2013 with his single, Type of Way, but it was his 2015 hit, Flex, that really propelled his career.
He was described by the New York Times as being part of the city’s rising generation of rappers, and he went on to collaborate with Tyga, YG, Jeezy and Young Thug.
He leaves behind four sons, two of whom he shared with girlfriend Amber, and two from a previous relationship.
