The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) has begun restoring power following the disruptions that Nigerians endured on Monday evening.
NAN reports that light was restored in Deidei, Suleja, Lugbe, Kuje, and other locations at about 5:15 a.m. on Tuesday.
Customers in the AEDC were informed of the supply outage, which was ascribed to the collapse of the National Grid.
In a post on its Twitter handle on Monday, the business reported that the system meltdown occurred around 6.58 p.m.
