The Osun State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has suspended former Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, for allegedly engaging in anti-party activities.
In a resolution sent to the APC National Secretariat and directed to National Chairman Dr. Umar Ganduje, the Osun APC accused Aregbesola of causing rifts within the party by forming a separate faction.
The state party chapter stated that this move had disrupted harmony and solidarity, particularly during a crucial period in Osun politics.
The party emphasized that his behavior has exacerbated internal divisions.
There has been no response from ex-governor’s camp regarding this suspension.
