APC suspends ex-Osun governor, Aregbesola

House of Reps probe Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola over alleged misuse of N165 billion for Correctional Service

The Osun State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has suspended former Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, for allegedly engaging in anti-party activities.

In a resolution sent to the APC National Secretariat and directed to National Chairman Dr. Umar Ganduje, the Osun APC accused Aregbesola of causing rifts within the party by forming a separate faction.

The state party chapter stated that this move had disrupted harmony and solidarity, particularly during a crucial period in Osun politics.

The party emphasized that his behavior has exacerbated internal divisions.

There has been no response from ex-governor’s camp regarding this suspension.
