Nollywood icon Aunty Ramota, also known as Ramota Adeotu, has reached out to Nigerians for help following a series of challenges with her management.
In a poignant video shared by philanthropist Agiye Amira on Instagram, Aunty Ramota tearfully revealed that she is currently homeless and in desperate need of assistance.
The actress explained that she was kicked out of her accommodations by her helper who recently got married and needed their own space. Additionally, the individual who had been helping her build a house suddenly stopped due to personal issues.
On top of these struggles, Aunty Ramota alleged that her management had not only taken all her money but also deleted her social media accounts, including TikTok, which had been a crucial source of income and exposure for her.
Expressing her frustration, Aunty Ramota lamented that despite her hard work, her management had betrayed her trust and exploited her.
In her words, “I’m currently stranded without accommodation. The lady I was staying with got married last month, and she asked me to leave because her husband wasn’t comfortable with me staying there.
“The man who was helping me build my house stopped because of personal issues. To make things worse, my management stole all the money I had. They even deleted my TikTok and every other social media account.
I worked so hard, but they kept cheating me because they thought I wouldn’t know how much we were really making. Now, I don’t even have enough to rent a place.
Someone kindly offered to rent a space for me, but I told them I want to finish building my house, even if it’s just one room, so I can finally have a place to call my own”.
