Blessing CEO has received criticism for a video she put on her Instagram profile.
The video purports to parody May Edochie’s impassioned speech delivered at an occasion in Doha, Qatar.
May Edochie’s speech went viral, prompting an outpouring of sympathy from social media users and admirers.
However, Blessing CEO’s video appears to mock the emotional response by replicating the women’s tears, as viewers interpret it as a jab at May Edochie.
The video has generated controversy, given Blessing CEO’s association with Yul Edochie and Judy Austin.
Critics accuse her of dismissing the genuine emotions expressed by women at the conference.
The video’s caption reads: “DOHA women be like… Very emotional story.” Some view this as belittling the sentiment shared by May and others.
