Former Liverpool footballer Peter Cormack has died. Cormack died aged 78.
The Reds made the announcement on their website on Friday.
“Liverpool FC is deeply saddened by the passing of former midfielder Peter Cormack, aged 78,” Liverpool’s statement read.
“The thoughts of everyone at Liverpool FC are with Peter’s family and friends at this very sad and difficult time.”
Bill Shanky, the famed manager, signed him.
He was a crucial figure in the Liverpool team that dominated English football during the 1970s.
