Maverick vocalist Seun Kuti has expressed his discontent regarding his exclusion from the nuptials of Afrobeats luminary Davido.
CREEBHILLS notes that individuals of significant stature from diverse sectors were present at Davido’s opulent wedding ceremony to his spouse, Chioma, which took place on June 25, 2024.
In a recent installment of ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask,’ hosted by content creator Bae U Barbie, Seun Kuti revealed that he experienced a week of insomnia subsequent to being overlooked by Davido concerning invitations to the wedding.
He articulated that this situation was particularly distressing, as Davido and his associates had previously frequented his family’s bar to consume complimentary beverages.
“Davido would come to the African Shrine with 100 guys, and he would drink without paying, but when it was time for his wedding, I didn’t get IV. I was pained, I didn’t sleep for one week,” he said.
