In the voice message he sent to Buhari, Lasisi Elenu discussed his surprising feelings of nostalgia.
He said:
“I’m not sending you this message on behalf of anyone. I think I owe it to myself and my family.I never thought I would be here doing this at this time. First, I don’t even know how to say this. I miss you. God help me na die I dey”
Since Buhari’s departure from office in May 2023, numerous Nigerians have voiced concerns over the worsening economic condition, leading some to reminisce about his administration.
