A participant in the recently concluded season nine of Big Brother Naija (No Loose Guard), Ruth Akpan, also known as Ruthee, articulated her sentiment of feeling privileged to have been granted a second opportunity within the BBN residence, despite not having the opportunity to vie for the monetary prize a second time.
In an interview with Sunday Scoop, she said, “I did not feel bad for returning to Big Brother’s house even though I went back as a guest the second time. I was happy I got a second chance because it doesn’t happen every time and that made me special.”
In reflecting upon her experiences within the house, Ruthee recognized the existence of some contentious interactions with her fellow participants, conceding that she harbored regrets regarding particular statements she had made.
Nevertheless, she underscored her aspiration to progress and refrain from rehashing previous disputes.
Addressing misconceptions about her personality, Ruthee clarified, “I am not rude or proud but I work with energy. I could be in the same space with many people and be cordial with all of them. But, if the vibe is not giving me what I want then that’s a no.”
Ruthee also revealed that she is not a fan of make-up but likes having her lip gloss with her every time.
