JoJo Samples Uncle Luke on New Song ‘Porcelain’ After Memoir ‘Over the Influence’ Becomes New York Times Best-Seller

JoJo Samples Uncle Luke on New Song 'Porcelain'

It’s JoJo’s season, and what better way to build on the enthusiasm than to release new music?

To celebrate that her compelling memoir, ‘Over the Influence,’ released on September 18, has already become a New York Times Best-Seller less than a month later, the award-winning songstress has unveiled a new song, ‘Porcelain.’

“I realized that I was my worst enemy / I had to break it / And rearrange it / And turn into a beautiful mosaic,” she sings in the deeply introspective track.  “I saw a problem / I had to change it / I left my sadness in fragments/ Porcelain.”

Produced by Ron “Neff-U” Feemster, ‘Porcelain’ is bolstered by prominent interpolations of Uncle Luke‘s unforgettable 1992 classic ‘I Wanna Rock.’
