Laide Bakare has discussed the controversies surrounding her life, including her career in politics and rivalry with friend Eniola Badmus.
During an interview with Seun Oloketuyi, Laide discussed her appointment as Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke’s Senior Special Assistant on Entertainment, Art, Culture and Tourism.
Laide Bakare applauded Governor Adeleke’s leadership and vision, and expressed appreciation for the opportunity to contribute to Osun’s entertainment and culture industries. Her concentration is on empowering young people and pupils.
However, Laide Bakare also addressed the tension with Eniola Badmus, stemming from a public confrontation.
Laide Bakare denied Eniola’s accusation that she called her “childless,” clarifying that she offered advice on starting a family, which was misinterpreted.
