Enzo Maresca, Chelsea manager, has stated that new England head coach Thomas Tuchel has approached members of his staff. Tuchel was formally selected as the Three Lions’ new coach.
The German is now considering one of his old clubs to bolster his coaching staff.
Maresca said: “All the best to Thomas and nothing more. If people in charge decides it’s him, it’s because they are convinced. I’m not the one to judge if it’s right or wrong.
“I know that one of them has been approached, one of the analysts. We are quite open to leave people to take chances if they want to take it. The other one, Hilario, I heard something but there has not been any approach yet.
“We are open-minded to allow people to take chances and are happy to keep people if they want to stay. If they want to go, they can go.”
