Erik ten Hag’s ex-teammate, Hans Kraay Jr, has disclosed that the decision by Manchester United to fire the Dutchman has left him devastated.
The Dutch coach was let go on Monday after a 26-month tenure at Old Trafford.
Despite leading the Red Devils to two trophy victories, there was a lack of playing identity during his time at the club.
Even though he received a significant payout after his dismissal, it seems that the former Ajax boss is still feeling disappointed.
Kraay Jr mentioned how Ten Hag has been coping with losing his job.
He said (via mufcMPB), “I understand that he is getting €17m and then people say: ‘he will go somersaulting through Manchester’.
“No, he is completely, completely devastated, he is completely ruined.”
