Toke Makinwa, a media celebrity, appears to have addressed allegations around her apparent marriage to longtime pal Farouk Umar.
Clips from her birthday Thanksgiving on Sunday appeared online, fueling speculation that the couple had married.
Toke and Farouk were clothed in white throughout the videos.
Messages of congratulations flooded social media.
However, the media personality addressed the matter by posting a video from the event on social media with the description “Thanksgiving service.”
In a previous post, she reflected on a prophecy she received years ago, which stated that “eyes have not seen, ears have not heard what God is about to do” in her life.
She said she was unsure of her path when the prophecy was made, adding that it has come to fruition.
“Today I testify of His goodness. Happy TM Thanksgiving day… Counting down to my birthday,” Toke added.
Toke will be celebrating her 40th birthday on November 3.
