Swangz Avenue star Winnie Nwagi has explained why she did not attend fellow singer Sheebah’s concerts, despite her like and appreciation. She stated that artists usually have an agreement when performing a concert.
That is why most of them do not charge for their performances; they simply show up to express their support and love.
Sheebah revealed before the show that Winnie Nwagi was her favorite musician. She stated that no Ugandan musician performs like her; she is the best. Fans anticipated seeing her at the concert, but she didn’t show up.
According to Winnie Nwagi, she likes Sheebah, but she did not attend the event because she was not invited.
She said it’s not professional for a musician to attend a concert as they might not have wanted her there. The talented Swangz Avenue singer assured fans that there is no bad blood between them; she was just not invited, and that’s why she didn’t show up.
“There has to be an understanding between the two artists. Sometimes we are not in communication, not in touch. So I wouldn’t know if she wanted me to perform at her concert,” Nwagi on not performing at Sheebah’s concert.
It should be noted that Winnie Nwagi is not the only musician who didn’t show up to support Sheebah. All artists signed under Swangz Avenue were not at the concert.
