Popular Nigerian artist Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, known as Wizkid, has openly lambasted Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, the uncle of fellow singer Davido, for dancing in a viral video.
Wizkid aired his displeasure in messages on his official media profile via the social media platform X (previously known as Twitter).
In what appears to be a subtle dig, Wizkid implicitly targeted Davido with multiple words that many regarded as directed at the singer.
While Davido has kept mute and has yet to comment, Wizkid escalated the matter by insulting Governor Adeleke for dancing in public and posting a video of the incident.
Wizkid wrote: “When you see people raised by their family, you can tell! You won’t catch my uncle dancing online!”

The post has sparked widespread backlash on social media, with many users criticizing Wizkid for his comments.
