Alesha Dixon has officially parted ways with her spouse, Azuka Ononye, after over ten years.
The judge from Britain’s Got Talent, who is the mother of daughters Azura, aged 10, and Anaya, aged four, with the choreographer, has allegedly disclosed that their relationship had evolved into “more of a friendship,” as reported by the Sun newspaper.
The couple made their final joint appearance on the red carpet in July 2023 at the lavish 30th birthday celebration of rapper Stormzy.
Alesha Dixon and Ononye were introduced in 2006 when he was engaged as a backup dancer during her tour, The Alesha Show.
Their romantic relationship began several years later, culminating in the birth of their first child, a daughter named Azura Sienna, in 2013.
The family’s happiness was further enhanced with the arrival of their second daughter, Anaya, in 2019. In the same year, the couple celebrated their union with a private wedding ceremony.
Dixon was previously wed to British rapper MC Harvey from the group So Solid Crew, from 2005 until their separation in 2006. Their relationship ended in heartbreak following allegations of infidelity involving him and fellow pop star and West End co-star Javine Hylton.
Best recognized as a member of the R&B girl group Mis-Teeq, Dixon is also a talented actress, having appeared in the 2004 film Catwoman and the 2016 production Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie.
She triumphed in the fifth series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2004, partnering with professional dancer Matthew Cutler.
