Bobrisky, a controversial crossdresser, was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
Bobrisky was caught at the Lagos airport while attempting to board a flight to London. In a post, he wrote, “Nigerians, help me, the EFCC just arrested me.” “I’m severely injured.”
This event follows an arrest by the Benin Republic Immigration Service at the Seme border just a few weeks ago during a passport check.
According to reports, the crossdresser was attempting to flee Nigeria covertly when the EFCC detained him.
