Actress Kwezi Ndlovu-Mbambo recently celebrated a joyous occasion by conducting a traditional Lobola ceremony with close family and friends to commemorate her marriage to Durban businessman Sibongiseni Mageza Mbambo, who also fathers her twins. However, rumors rapidly appeared, putting a pall over her happy occasion.
According to IOL, suspicion has begun that her husband may already be married. Kwezi addressed the rumors on her Instagram stories. She explained, “To be clear, my future husband is not married and has never been married before.
Our respective families and children are delighted about our voyage, which is a first for both families. We’re both glad for the strong foundation of love and unity that our families are helping us establish. We look forward to the continued growth of our family.”
Kwezi also tackled another rumor, addressing false claims about her relationship with her best friend, Tina Mbambo. “I’d also like to clear up some rumors. I have never snatched a man from any of my friends. Tina Mbambo is my best friend and she is happily married to her husband. My husband and Tina’s husband are brothers, which makes this moment special for us as close friends.”
Expressing her gratitude for the love and support she’s received, Kwezi shared how meaningful this chapter has been. “This new chapter has already been so joyful and meaningful, and I am truly blessed to be surrounded by such incredible support. For those who may not know, I am proudly half Xhosa, and honoring my mother’s lineage was an important part of this beautiful journey. Embracing my cultural roots has always been significant to me, so as our wedding preparations continue, I look forward to sharing more of the vibrant and diverse traditions that make up my lineage.”
