Margot Robbie has explained why she performed a full-frontal nude scene in “The Wolf of Wall Street,” underlining her dedication to character authenticity.
The 34-year-old actress revealed that director Martin Scorsese first offered her the option of wearing a robe for comfort.
Scorsese suggested, “Maybe you can be wearing a robe if you’re not comfortable.”
However, Robbie firmly responded: “That’s not what she would do in that scene. The whole point is that she’s going to come out completely naked—that’s the card she’s playing.”
During an interview on the Talking Pictures podcast, Robbie also disclosed that securing the role of Naomi Lapaglia was challenging, requiring multiple audition attempts.
