According to reports, former Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has approached Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo about a potential move to Fenerbahce.
Mourinho, who is currently in charge of the Turkish club, is looking to strengthen his team with players who have previously played under him
Reports in Turkiye, backed by SPORTbible via Sportskeeda, allege that the Portuguese tactician called the five-time Ballon d’Or winner and asked: “Are you happy there? There is talk that you want to leave. If you leave, would you like to come to Fenerbahce?”
The two men previously worked together at Real Madrid from 2010 to 2013, where they achieved success including the first ever 100-point season in LaLiga history and a Copa del Rey title, with Ronaldo scoring 168 goals and providing 49 assists in 164 games under Mourinho’s guidance.
