Davido, a Nigerian singer, copies the late Brenda Fassie’s famous song Vuli Ndlela in his latest track Funds.
The Unavailable hitmaker released the single last week, generating internet discussion.
Snippets of the song were posted on social media, capturing Mzansi’s interest.
Most South African reviews were negative, claiming that Davido did not do his song justice despite borrowing an iconic sound.
