Former lawmaker Senator Dino Melaye is thrilled by the recent decision of the Federal Capital Territory High Court regarding the money laundering case involving former Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello.
The FCT High Court has remanded Bello in Kuje Correctional Centre pending his bail application, with Justice Maryann Anenih adjourning the hearing in the N110bn money laundering case until January 29-30 and February 25-27.
In response, Dino Melaye took to his official social media handle to express his excitement, stating that he had predicted Bello’s imprisonment around six years ago.
According to the former lawmaker, “6 years ago, SDM predicted Yahaya Bello would end up in prison.
“Today, he will be spending Christmas in Kuje prison. All powers belong to God”.
