Simon Ekpa

The assets of Simon Ekpa, a self-proclaimed Biafran agitator, have been frozen by Finnish authorities.

Simon Ekpa, who is accused of terrorism-related activities, has been held in detention for several weeks.

Reports indicate that the Finnish government has also frozen assets of companies linked to Ekpa and four of his associates who are also in custody.

It has been confirmed by local newspaper Yle that Ekpa is being held at Kylmäkoski Vankila (Kylmäkoski Prison), known as one of the toughest prisons in the world. Situated in Vanhamaantie, Akaa, Finland, Kylmäkoski Prison is a high-security facility.

It is anticipated that Simon Ekpa may spend the upcoming Christmas and New Year holidays in detention, as Finnish authorities continue to take a firm stance on his case.
