Afrobeats sensation Davido believes that Nigeria’s full potential can only be reached with effective leadership.
Speaking on the ‘Elevate Africa Convos’ podcast, he emphasized that the country has the capacity to thrive but is held back by inadequate governance.
“I tell people, if you can survive in Nigeria, you can survive anywhere,” Davido stated.
“I just feel the only thing missing is the right leaders to guide us. Once we get that right, I believe there’s nothing that can stop us.”
The singer made headlines after cautioning Americans against considering a move to Africa, particularly Nigeria, citing the country’s struggling economy.
In an interview with The Morning Hustle podcast, he also expressed the view that Nigeria lacks genuine democracy.
