Megan Thee Stallion’s producer calls out Spotify for paying artists “The least”

Megan Thee Stallion and LilJuMadeDaBeat make an unstoppable team, creating hit after hit like “Body,” “Big Ole Freak,” and “Thot Shit.”

With a massive global fanbase, they know how to push boundaries and deliver chart-topping tracks. However, while Megan’s success on Spotify soared, her producer, LilJuMadeDaBeat, was less than pleased with the platform’s payment practices.

Taking to social media, he criticized Spotify and encouraged fans to listen to Megan Thee Stallion‘s music on other platforms that offer fairer compensation for artists.

“I hate that y’all actually use Spotify instead of literally ANY other streaming service,” he wrote. “They pay us the least.”

This isn’t the first time an artist has spoken out against Spotify. Noname and Drake have also called out the streaming platform for its low payouts to musicians. Drake even plans to take legal action against Spotify for allegedly using tactics to boost another artist’s song.
