Taylor Swift has graciously given a substantial donation to a children’s non-profit organization.
The renowned 35-year-old singer, who recently made history with her highly successful Eras World Tour bringing in over $2 billion (£1.6 billion), has now pledged $250,000 (£200,000) to Operation Breakthrough in Kansas City.
This organization is dedicated to providing education and a secure environment for underprivileged children in the area.
In a heartwarming social media post, the organization shared a video of children expressing their gratitude to Taylor Swift.
An accompanying caption on the Instagram post stated, “Thank you, @taylorswift, for making our holiday season shine even brighter!
“Your kindness and thoughtful 250K donation means the world to our children and families.”
Swift’s NFL player boyfriend, Travis Kelce – who hails from Westlake, Ohio, and has played for the Kansas City Chiefs since 2013 – is also a supporter of Operation Breakthrough.
He has been an advocate and financial supporter of the organisation for 10 years.
Company CEO Mary Esselman previously told USA Today, “He came for Read Across America Day. He was reading to some of the preschool classrooms … and he just kept coming back.”
