Selena Gomez enthusiastically expressed her pride when her boyfriend, Benny Blanco, was nominated as one of People Magazine’s Sexiest Men Alive.
The 32-year-old singer and actress has been in a relationship with the 36-year-old music producer since the summer of 2023.
Selena Gomez has proudly endorsed the honour, telling CBS Sunday Morning, “That’s my man! It was very charming.”
Blanco was in good company for the 2024 awards – with Wicked actor Jonathan Bailey, Twisters star Glen Powell, and singer Joe Jonas also in the line-up.
The Only Murders In The Building star gave insight into her romance with Blanco, declaring, “(I am) beyond proud to know that there is someone in the world who deeply cares about every tiny detail about who I am.”
And she added, “And to have someone support me, encourage me, inspire me and motivate me, it brings me joy. More than anything, he’s just my best friend. I’m really, really lucky.”
Blanco also reciprocated her feelings, sharing his admiration for her during an interview with People Magazine regarding his prestigious award.
The I Can’t Get Enough hitmaker said of Selena Gomez, “(She is) a true best friend that I get to do everything in the world with, and every day is the best day of my life.”
And describing a dream date that he once treated her to, he revealed, “For Valentine’s Day, I got her Taco Bell, I made her movie-theatre nachos, I found her favourite pickles from Texas and I deep-fried them for her. Then (I had) all her candies and Hot Cheetos.”
