Salo, a popular TikToker, has described how he was shot three times by an unidentified assailant in Lekki, who initially targeted for his head but ran out of ammo.
In a recent statement, the Tiktoker explained how the incident transpired, adding that he was unaware the situation was growing until the attacker fired the first shot into the air.
Only when the gunman leveled the handgun at him and fired again did he realize the gravity of the situation.
Salo claimed that after being shot the first time, he assumed it was a prank because he could still communicate and groan in pain.
However, the situation quickly worsened when he was shot two more times in the stomach, leaving him unable to breathe.
He added that the gunman attempted to shoot him in the head but ran out of bullets before he could deliver the fatal shot.
In his statement, Salo clarified that the attackers were not armed robbers but “hired killers,” hired specifically to take his life.
He expressed confusion, asking why he was targeted, especially since he is the one supporting his family and considered the “light.”
He also noted that other public figures, including singer Portable and fellow TikToker DJ Chicken, were not targeted by the killers, further questioning the motives behind the attack.
This incident follows an earlier attack in which Salo was shot and had his jewelry stolen in Lekki.
The attack occurred on Thursday, October 10, 2024, around the Lekki axis in Lagos State, and he was subsequently rushed to Perez Medcare Hospital, Lekki Phase 2.
