The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has decided to withdraw the arrest warrant against Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu Thankgod, the manager of gospel artist Mercy Chinwo.
This comes after allegations of fraud and diversion of funds, with Chinwo claiming that Onyedikachukwu diverted $345,000 belonging to her.
The EFCC had previously filed a motion for Onyedikachukwu’s arrest, accusing him of withholding royalties and diverting funds from Chinwo’s music platforms and event earnings.
However, the commission’s lawyer, Mrs. Bilikisu Buhari, requested the withdrawal of the arrest warrant on Friday.
