Award season is officially in full swing, and the EE BAFTA Film Awards 2025 is shaping up to be one of the most eagerly awaited events of the year.
Dedicated to celebrating outstanding achievements in cinema from Britain and across the globe, this year’s nominations spotlight an impressive array of talent. Leading the charge are the critically acclaimed ‘Hard Truths’, which has earned significant nods as a standout homegrown film, and international hits like ‘Wicked,’ featuring powerhouse performances from Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo. Meanwhile, Colman Domingo continues to draw praise for his compelling turn in ‘Sing Sing.’
The winners will be unveiled in a glittering ceremony broadcast live on BBC1 and iPlayer on Sunday, February 16, 2025.
