Manchester City defeated Chelsea 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, extending their pursuit of the top four.
Chelsea took the lead early in the game thanks to a goal from Noni Madueke in the third minute. But shortly before halftime, Manchester City equalised by a goal from Josko Gvardiol in the 42nd minute.

Manchester City dominated the second half and dominated the match. In the 68th minute, Erling Haaland chipped past Robert Sanchez to score what appeared to be the game-winning goal.
Just before full time, though, Phil Foden completed an assist from Erling Haaland, which was the last nail in the coffin. As a result, Chelsea drops to sixth place while City moves into the top four with 41 points.
