According to the UK Mirror, Pep Guardiola’s decision to sign a new contract with Manchester City resulted in his split from wife Cristina Serra.
Guardiola signed a two-year deal in November 2024, which ultimately led to the end of their 30-year relationship.
The Mamarazzis, Lorena Vazquez and Laura Fa, shared on a podcast that Cristina’s failure to return to Manchester from Barcelona, where she focused on her business interests, after the summer holidays was unexpected and concerning to their friends.
Despite the separation, there is still hope among their inner circle for a possible reconciliation in the future.
They said: “It could be that one day, when Pep leaves football, and if he returns to Barcelona, they could renew their relationship.”
