Court Grants Naomi Silekunola and Oriyomi Hamzat N10 million Bail

Queen Naomi Silekunola becomes a bride as she celebrates her 31st Birthday

An Ibadan High Court has granted Naomi Silekunola, the ex-queen of the Ooni of Ife, bail of N10 million.

Oriyomi Hamzat, founder of Agidigbo FM in Ibadan, and Abdulahi Fasasi, principal of Islamic High School in Bashorun, Ibadan, were also granted bail in N10 million.

The trio are standing trial over the tragic funfair stampede that led to the death of 35 children at the school on December 18, 2024.

Another condition for their bail is the provision of two sureties with landed property for Ibadan.

The court also directed the defendants to submit their international passports and should not grant media interviews.
