Cristina Serra, wife of Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, has broken her silence since news of their marriage troubles emerged.
She shared that she is feeling great, despite the circumstances. Recently seen shopping alone in Barcelona, she smiled as a reporter approached her but chose to remain tight-lipped about the reasons behind their split.
When asked how she was doing, Cristina replied: “Perfecta, gracias” – “Perfect, thanks” in English.
The mother of three then added: “Everything’s fine”, when quizzed about her state of mind.
Speculations suggest that Guardiola’s decision to stay in Manchester and extend his contract with the club may have played a role in their separation.
The couple, who have been together since 1994 and married in 2014, are said to maintain a respectful and affectionate relationship, with no third party involvement in their break-up.
