Nightlife tycoon, Pascal Okechukwu, also known as Cubana Chief Priest, has set the record straight by confirming that the man singer Burna Boy gave $30,000 to in a viral video is not his brother, despite widespread reports.
The singer had promised to donate $30,000 to a phone repairer who gained attention for claiming to be related to the flashy nightlife mogul during a social media dispute.
In a video that went viral, content creator Lucky Uduh revealed that Burna Boy had indeed followed through on his promise to give the man $30,000.
In response, Cubana Chief Priest clarified that the recipient of Burna Boy’s generosity is not his brother, emphasizing that he only has one biological brother and two sisters who are all doing well. He also stated that he is not obligated to financially support his siblings.
On his Instastory, he wrote, “Alleged brother! Skit makers f**kin oppressors. Dem don kneel am down, you go still bend am down because the pain must reach everybody, but my own be say No alert oh no cash oh I wan just dey sure say my village boy collect for real. Na still my glorious glory. Make una show workings; na musician you fit even give am verse. I have only one biological big brother & two kid sisters. They ain’t doing so bad.
“Regardless, I owe them nothing, na my money, make everybody find their own.”
