Lady Gaga’s new album, “Mayhem,” is scheduled to be released on March 7. The 38-year-old pop star announced the details of her record on social media, revealing that it will include 14 songs, with two tracks already released titled “Die With a Smile” and “Disease.”
Gaga explained: “The album started as me facing my fear of returning to the pop music my earliest fans loved.”
For this album, Gaga will be serving as an executive producer alongside her fiance Michael Polansky and Andrew Watt. She is also working with producers Andrew, Cirkut, and Gesaffelstein on the project.
Although the full track list has not been released yet, Lady Gaga will be dropping the third single during the Grammy Awards on February 2.
Last year, the singer shared that she was excited for the challenge of being an older pop star and acknowledged that she was entering a new phase of her music career as a 38-year-old artist.
She told Buzzfeed Canada: “I’m 38 years old, and it’s kind of fun to embrace the challenge of being a 38-year-old pop star and figuring out who I want to be now and what I want to say because I really love women.
“I really want to be a voice that deserves to be part of our community.”
Lady Gaga also revealed that she wants to “have a family” with Michael.
The ‘Poker Face’ hitmaker – who got engaged in 2024 – shared: “I am so happy to be in love, and I’m so excited to have a family, so that’s definitely number one. But also, I really believe in the ability to grow as a person.”
