Toyosi Etim-Effiong, the wife of Nollywood actor Daniel Etim-Effiong, shared the story of how she and her husband became a couple during an episode of the Off Air podcast with Gbemi Olateru.
The couple, who have been married for seven years, revealed that Daniel ended up with Toyosi Etim-Effiong because his previous partner wasn’t ready for marriage.
A clip from the show which surfaced online saw her say:
“The reason why he left the person he was with was because she said she wasn’t ready to settle down, but me, I was very ready.”
Their relationship has been in the spotlight recently due to the unique challenges they have faced.
Daniel admitted to struggling with setting boundaries, while Toyosi disclosed that she doesn’t fully trust her husband.
